The fork for single tee descending

Developed for track, bike park and electric mountain bike use, the RXF38 m.2 shares several key technologies with its big brother, the DH38. The new addition to the Öhlins range brings 38mm plungers to the brand's single tee range, a new lighter chassis optimized for committed riding, confidence-inspiring TTX damping and unrivaled adjustability.

The new fork joins the range replacing the RXF38 m.1, previously released in August 2020 and originally available on a limited number of partner brand MTB models. The new m.2 version has a completely new leg, a new designed tee with more size options available and new plungers, designed for the perfect balance of stiffness and flex.

The new fork features 38mm diameter plungers that offer increased stiffness for precision, Öhlins has reduced flex where it counts. Stiffness doesn't have to mean hardness, Ohlins has worked hard to find the perfect flex pattern - under braking, cornering and impact - to offer more control over a wide range of riding and terrain.

Our exclusive thru-axle design has become a hallmark of Öhlins forks and can be found on trail and downhill forks. Its clever, lightweight floating design is not only secure and adjustable with the common Allen wrench, but more importantly, it ensures consistent alignment of the bottom leg. This improves suspension performance and responsiveness by eliminating any potential friction from over tightening, while reducing wear and the likelihood of damaging bushings or struts.
