Description

The new Fox 34 is the fork designed for Trail, All-Mountain use.

Fox has completely revised its copy. The weight/stiffness ratio has improved thanks to lower weights and unchanged stiffness. The 34's chassis has evolved greatly. Two modifications are very visible. The fork arch has been modified, to fit better with the current frames that have short and wide head tubes.

Solid and very rigid, the arch offers a clearance that allows the installation of 29x2.60 section tires on the 34. At the rear of the fork, two channels follow the legs.
Small explanation: it is a logical phenomenon that in the empty spaces, the air pressure inside the fork increases when the fork has more travel. This uncontrolled overpressure can sometimes prevent the rider from using the full stroke. Fox has equipped its new 34s with additional channels in the legs that prevent overpressure build-up. This technology is also available on the 38 & 36 enduro forks.

The new construction also promotes permanent lubrication of the seals and guide rings. This means that the operation will be smoother, at least in theory, and it will be easier to use the full travel of the fork. The Evol air spring has been fitted with a re-adjusted negative spring to improve the fork's mid-travel behavior. For 2022, the forks come with a shim that allows you to adjust this volume according to your wishes, more linearity or more progressiveness.
