The new G-SQUAD HR is the first G-SHOCK with GPS, heart rate monitor and solar charging. An optimal tool to monitor your form and to train daily with it in all situations, including the most extreme.

Like all G-SHOCK, the structure and design of the watch protects the module from all direct impacts as well as the glass and buttons. The back of the stainless steel case is accompanied by curved resin binding for more comfort and softness on the wrist. Waterproof class 200 m.
The GPS sensor keeps track of your track and allows you to review your route and all the other parameters of your activity via the G-SHOCK MOVE application.
The watch is equipped with an optical sensor on the back of the watch to allow monitoring of your heart rate during your activities, but also continuously if you wish. Using calculation algorithms, the watch converts blood flow into beats per minute. In order to allow the monitoring of your training, the watch and the application allow you to follow your level of form via your V02 max, the training load as well as the recovery time.

Charging by solar or hybrid assistance: The watch is equipped with a solar panel which allows in time mode (includes the measurement of the number of steps and the notification functions) with an autonomy of 12 months without recharging. By adding continuous cardio, you get 66 hours of battery life. After approximately 2.5 hours of charging via the cable, the drive functions can be used continuously for up to 14 hours in standard mode and more than 18 hours in long mode. Solar assist helps to supplement battery life in activity mode, but this depends on light conditions.
In order to support you in all your activities, the watch is equipped with 5 sensors:

A heart sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer detects body movements and measures the number of steps and distance traveled. It allows distance measurement in environments where GPS measurement is not available. The integrated miniature triple sensor allows the use of the compass, measurement of altitude, pressure using the altimeter and barometer and temperature. The compass and altimeter increase the accuracy of GPS measurements.
The G-SHOCK MOVE application available on Android and iOS, allows you to track your daily and sports activities. It also offers the possibility of creating training plans based on a goal of improving your form or a race. The application will propose this plan according to your training possibilities and your planning. This plan is updated based on your accomplishments. Via a web platform, you can import activities from other applications and export activities to external applications such as Strava or Google Fit.
