Buying guide

No adjustments, no charging—just put on your helmet, hop on your bike, and off you go!

The WingBack from the Abus road helmet family is minimalist—yet beneath its wing-like design, it hides a few sophisticated features that partly draw on technologies from the Performance helmet line. The WingBack emphasizes its sporty character with deep ventilation channels, slim struts, and a spoiler at the back. The combination of polycarbonate (PC) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) gives it a very lightweight feel, weighing in at just 240 grams. The snag-free FlowStraps do not require a strap distributor.
With Zoom Ace, the helmet quickly adjusts to the size of your head, and even a ponytail fits easily inside. So: Put on the helmet, and you’re ready to ride in the style of fixie riders.

TECHNOLOGIES of the Abus WingBack Helmet:

Ponytail-friendly: Thanks to the height-adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: a dial at the back of the head for a custom fit based on head circumference
Sewn-in straps: For optimal aerodynamics, the straps are sewn in and therefore do not require a strap divider—this ensures a snug fit and prevents them from shifting while riding
Comfort pads: Soft padding inserts for optimal comfort, secured inside the helmet with Velcro
Removable and washable padding: The padding can be removed and hand-washed or replaced as needed
Snap closure: For safe and convenient use, the straps are equipped with a classic snap closure (triangular connection) for opening and closing
In-Mold Process: A manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, resulting in a durable and robust construction
