The Targon is your modular full-face helmet for demanding mountain biking: With a removable chin guard, it offers maximum protection on descents, and without the chin guard, it provides more freedom on climbs—made in Italy.

Speed Latch System™: The chin strap can be quickly and easily removed or attached to the helmet thanks to the innovative Speed Latch™ mechanism.
Zoom™ Rapid Fit System: For a secure and comfortable fit: a dial allows you to precisely adjust the helmet, down to the millimeter, to the shape of your head.
Vario Pads: Adjust the cheek pads to three different positions. In full-face mode, they ensure a secure fit and optimal comfort.

SPECIFICATIONS:

With the innovative Speed Latch™ System, you’re in control: Without the chin strap, in lightweight, well-ventilated half-shell mode for climbs and trail rides. With the chin strap, in full-face mode for extra protection on demanding trails and in the bike park.
Certified for your descents: The Targon complies with the ASTM F1952-22 standard, an additional test specifically designed for downhill helmets. It is also EN 1078 certified for Europe and complies with the CPSC standard for the United States and Canada. The MIPS version offers you additional protection against rotational forces on technical trails and fast descents.
Made in Italy: The helmet is manufactured at our own production facility in Italy, ensuring high-quality standards and a precise, meticulous finish. It is the first MTB helmet in the “Made in Italy” line and combines premium craftsmanship with innovative design.

DETAILS:

Lower Edge Protection: The polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts, and wear and tear
Zoom™ Rapid Fit adjustment system: the helmet adapts to the shape of the head with millimeter precision thanks to a dial connected to a thin nylon cable with a steel core—pressing the dial returns it to its initial position
Front Eyeglass Holder: A recessed area at the front of the helmet designed to hold eyeglasses securely and aerodynamically in place while riding
Glasses Holder: A designated area under the helmet visor to securely fasten glasses so they do not slip or fall
Speed Latch System™: for quickly attaching the chin strap to the helmet
Removable visor: high-quality visor for protection against sunlight and branches—thanks to special technology, it detaches in the event of a fall to reduce strain on the neck
Comfort Pads: Soft padding inserts for optimal comfort, secured inside the helmet with Velcro
Adjustable cheek pads: cheek pads that can be adjusted using a sliding click mechanism for additional protection and a comfortable, secure fit for the full-face helmet
Removable and washable padding: It can be removed and hand-washed or replaced as needed
Sewn-in straps: For optimal aerodynamics, the straps are sewn in and therefore do not require a strap distributor—this ensures a snug fit and prevents them from flapping while riding
In-Mold Process: A manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing material, expanded polystyrene (EPS), is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, resulting in a durable and robust construction
Injected Carbon: A carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic material that provides high stability while remaining very lightweight
Magnetic Closure: To allow the chin strap to be opened with one hand, even while wearing gloves, the straps are equipped with a high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic closure
