The DRT5 Maven helmet is the new version of the DRT5, designed to give you the performance and comfort you need to hit the trails. Completely redesigned, the DRT5 Maven offers protective coverage, improved ventilation, a complete fit and a redesigned shell for a more discreet look. Because optics are part of Oakley's DNA, the DRT5 Maven integrates seamlessly with both prescription and prescription eyewear. The integrated lens Landing Zone and 4-point adjustable visor give you greater storage flexibility on the move. When the going gets tough, the DRT5 Maven helmet is ready to rise to the challenge. For added security, a twICEme® Medical ID NFC chip is located on the back of the helmet. Store your vital medical information and emergency contacts in the helmet so first responders can instantly get the information they need when time is of the essence.
FEATURES
- ADJUSTMENT: The BOA 360° adjustment system features an adjustable thumbwheel for secure, personalized adjustment.
- LIGHTWEIGHT: The DRT5 Maven weighs 60 grams less than the previous DRT5, making this helmet lighter than ever.
- PROTECTION: The MIPS® safety system consists of a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet, which helps to reduce harmful forces that might otherwise cause impacts to the wearer's head.
- VENTILATION: The DRT5 Maven features 19 vents in total, including newly designed vents on the front and top to significantly increase air circulation and breathability.
- COMFORT: The DRT5 Maven features the innovative Sweat Guard front pad and traditional textile padding on the top of the helmet. The silicone-gel Sweat Guard catches and wicks sweat away from the forehead to keep your glasses streak-free, and the textile padding adds extra contact points to improve overall comfort.
- SECURITY: a twICEme® Medical ID NFC chip is located on the back of the helmet. Store your medical information and emergency contacts in the helmet so that first responders can instantly get the information they need when time is of the essence.
- LINING: The Ionic+™ Antimicrobial lining is activated by perspiration, keeping things fresh and preventing unpleasant odors.
- GOGGLES STORAGE: Front vents provide runners with a convenient place to store their goggles with ease. Non-slip Unobtainium® elements keep goggle temples in place, while a second landing zone for goggles is located at the rear of the helmet, a feature only available on the DRT5 Maven.
- MASK INTEGRATION: A four-point adjustable visor is designed to keep sun and debris from hitting your face, while allowing you to safely store your goggles and mask. The DRT5 Maven was designed with our Airbrake mountain bike goggle in mind, to ensure optimum comfort.
- DESIGN: The DRT5 Maven features a branded badge with an Iiridium® coating, reflecting the colors of the Prizm™ lenses used on Oakley eyewear. Each badge color is specific to the helmet color, and all celebrate the heritage of Oakley eyewear.
