Newly synonymous with victory, the Protone Icon helmet features the latest technological advances in safety, ventilation and aerodynamics, making it a benchmark in road cycling. The design of the Protone Icon is based on KASK's award-winning Protone helmet and has benefited from every possible improvement

  • The internal structure has been redesigned to provide greater safety for the helmet wearer.
  • The upper and lower parts of the shell are assembled using seamless technology, giving it a sleek and stylish look while improving aerodynamics.
  • The new OCTOFIT + adjustment system optimizes the comfort and stability of the helmet, while a vertical neck stabilizer provides ergonomic neck support and offers better balance and a customized fit.
  • Its large rotating knob covered with special rubber improves tightening, while a reflector positioned at the back of the helmet offers even more safety.
  • The inner liner is made of CoolMax® fabric for comfort and quick drying, and it's also removable and washable.
  • As with all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon was developed in accordance with the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 TEST protocol, an objective scientific approach designed to measure helmet performance against rotational impacts.

TECHNOLOGIES

  • OCTOFIT +: The new injection-molded rubber knob provides a better grip. The vertical stabilizer has been redesigned for greater stability and offers riders with longer hair a custom fit. The ergonomic neck support ensures a quick and secure fit on the back of the head.
  • MIT: MIT technology ensures better head preservation, with full polystyrene protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer that covers the shell at the top, around the base and at the back.
  • COOLPMAX FIBER: Removable, washable Coolmax® inner liner
  • HIGH VISIBILITY: Highly visible decals for optimal safety in even the worst visibility conditions
  • IN MOULDING: The innovative "in molding" technology, which joins the inner polystyrene liner to the
    outer polycarbonate
    shell
    , guarantees better shock absorption
  • 3D DRY CUSHION: The 3D DRY cushioning is obtained through a multi-layer open cell construction process: high technology for the best comfort and performance.
