The Crankbrothers Mallet E automatic shoe is ideal for both enduro racing and one-day adventures.

Featuring a carbon-injected nylon upper, the Mallet E shoe offers optimal pedaling efficiency without compromising the shoe-pedal interface.

The innovative Match system optimizes engagement of all MTB automatic systems, whether Crankbrothers or SPD.

Supplied with a Match cleat and a Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in neutral position, it's ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals straight out of the box.

Details:

A matchbox, the inclined Match cleat box facilitates entry and exit of front and rear pedals and evacuates mud. An extra-rigid, carbon-injected nylon stem transfers power efficiently, whether climbing or sprinting.
Match Compound, the medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) facilitates pedal entry and exit and is sufficiently wear-resistant. The radial stud pattern around the cleat box is designed for smooth release from the pedal body.
Match outsole, the tread is designed for better grip on foot. Toe and heel lugs, oriented and spaced out, offer optimum grip for ascents and descents on steep terrain. The angled toe makes walking on steep terrain easier.
