To tackle the harshest winter conditions, the Estremo gloves are your allies, with their windproof Windstopper® X-Fast fabric and ultra-warm fleece lining. The Perfetto range, on the other hand, offers a perfect blend of warmth and finesse thanks to GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® Stretch Warm, providing maximum dexterity. The Perfetto Max model stands out as the warmest in this series, featuring an even thicker fleece lining, while the Perfetto Light offers wind protection and lightness ideal for mild and changing temperatures.
For rides in the rain, the Diluvio C and Diluvio One neoprene gloves are designed to keep your hands warm even when wet, much like a wetsuit. The thinner Diluvio One prioritizes dexterity. The Entrata Thermal and Espresso 2 gloves are other robust options for winter, combining PrimaLoft® insulation, wind protection, and touchscreen compatibility.
For milder temperatures, the Lightness gloves offer sufficient warmth without overheating, with excellent grip. The Unlimited long gloves are versatile for gravel or road riding, protecting against morning chill and vibrations, while being easy to pack. For warm days, the Superleggera short gloves are ultralight and ventilated, while the Espresso, Arenberg Gel, and Rosso Corsa Pro V short gloves offer targeted padding and superior grip for lasting comfort, even on rough terrain.
Many Castelli glove models incorporate the Castelli Damping System (CDS), a technology designed to protect the median nerve and reduce hand numbness on long rides.
Castelli Arm Warmers, Leg Warmers, and Hats: Unwavering Adaptability
Beyond gloves, Castelli offers a range of essential accessories to adapt your gear to the conditions. The Nanoflex 3G leg warmers, for instance, are made with water-repellent and breathable fabric, perfect for dry weather requiring extra protection from moisture.
For sun protection and thermal comfort, the UPF 50 Light 2 arm warmers offer UPF 50+ protection and excellent moisture management without the risk of overheating. They are ideal for days with fluctuating temperatures or strong sun.
For head and neck protection, Castelli leaves nothing to chance. The Difesa Thermal cap, with its Thermoflex Core2 fabric and wool ear covers, ensures warmth and moisture wicking during intense training in cool to cold weather. The Pro Thermal 2 headband, soft and stretchy, covers the ears and fits perfectly under a helmet, while the Viso mask, featuring Windstopper® X-Fast 2 fabric, blocks wind and retains heat for the lower face and ears.
