The Mafate Speed 4 is a successful synthesis of cushioning comfort and technical precision. Equipped with a dual-density PROFLY™+ midsole, it offers excellent energy return at the forefoot while providing soft and protective cushioning at the heel. The technical Jacquard mesh, made from recycled fibers, ensures good breathability and a firm fit. The 5 mm lugs combined with the Vibram® Megagrip outsole provide impeccable grip on all types of terrain, whether wet, rocky, or loose. The Mafate Speed 4 is designed for long distances and technical terrains while maintaining relative agility for those who like to run fast, even in challenging conditions.
Hoka Mafate X: The Endurance Monster
The latest addition to the family, the Hoka Mafate X, pushes the boundaries even further. Designed for ultra-endurance and prolonged efforts, it adopts an elevated geometry with a massive sole featuring maximum cushioning. The core of the shoe relies on ultra-soft H-Dynamic foam, combined with a propulsive Pebax plate that energizes each stride despite the imposing size. The widened platform ensures increased stability, while the Vibram® Megagrip outsole with a specific design guarantees continuous grip, even on descents. The Mafate X is not a shoe of compromise: it is a model designed to tackle ultras, unpredictable terrains, and rugged profiles with constant comfort, kilometer after kilometer.
