Rock Shox: mountain bike fork and shock absorber
Rockshox is a brand specialized in suspensions for mountain bikes, as well for DH, Freeride, cross-country, dirt... in leisure or competition.
The brand was created in 1989 in the United States by two former motocross riders who worked in suspension. Thanks to their know-how, they decided to join forces to create effective bicycle suspensions. Rockshox quickly established itself in the mountain bike world as the leader in suspension.
The brand now offers a wide range of mountain bike forks, RockShox shock absorbers, suspension accessories, spare parts... in order to meet the expectations of mountain bikers in constant evolution.
RockShox: concentrated technology
For every discipline of mountain biking, RockShox has the best products for the most demanding riders. It is thanks to research and constant innovation, the brand has become the leader in mountain bike suspensions.
All technologies developed by RockShox have been tested in competition by the world's best pilots in order to provide the end customer with the most efficient product possible. Models of mountain bike forks and shock absorbers are adapted to each practice such as the Sid fork for cross-country, the Pike for enduro and all mountain, the Boxxer for downhill and free ride...
To be more precise on these technologies, the brand has for example developed the "Motion Control DNA" which allows the fork to be adjusted/locked in the blink of an eye from its cockpit!
It has also developed the "TurnKey" technology, which makes it possible to absorb an unexpected shock if you forgot to unlock your fork after a rib, for example.
In use, RockShox products are very practical, intuitive and easy to maintain. In addition, the brand offers downloadable tutorial videos on its website to learn how to adjust the shock absorber and pocket guides to make the various settings simple.
RockShox: beyond suspensions
With their know-how and experience in the mountain bike industry, the brand now offers mountain bike parts other than RockShox suspensions, such as high pressure suspension pumps, hydraulic fork locks, telescopic seatposts... Rock Shox dropper seatposts are a real success, and the reputation of the Reverb is already well established! Most enduro riders use this model for its good weight/efficiency ratio.
Rock Shox, a brand of the Sram group
The suspension brand was integrated into the Sram group in 2002. Sram specialist in mountain bike transmission with its mythical groups such as the XX, X0, X9.... is today a large group that contains the brands Avid, Truvativ, Zipp, Quarq and Rock shox.
Very quickly the collaboration was succesful and the first models designed in collaboration with the large Sram group were best-sellers! Indeed, these are the Pike and Reba forks.
RockShox forks are used by the world's best enduro and cross country athletes sponsored by Sram.
