Precision and hooking
The Drago LV is the ultimate soft shoe. It's the perfect choice for the modern climber, with extensive rubber coverage on the toes and heel, ideal for all crocheting techniques. Its reduced volume, asymmetrical and arched shape, with a scratched toe, offers excellent toe support precision. Made in Asolo (Italy).
DETAILS:
- USE: SPORT CLIMBING AND BOULDERING
- 215g - Size/Size 40.5
- Multi-yoke upper (7) with seamless big toe yoke and offset stitching on all four toes for an optimal, customized fit. All-microfiber upper with a single Velcro strap and Y-shaped fastener for better support. A stretch gusset facilitates entry into the shoe.
- The 1 mm Minimal Flexan midsole features a pad at the big toe for optimum sensitivity.
- The PCB system is a minimalist tensioning system designed to offer maximum grip and sensitivity while maintaining the original shape of the liner. The SRT (toe rand system) with M50 rubber offers unrivalled grip at the toe.
- 3.5 mm Vibram® XS Grip 2 outsole (1/3 length) with handcrafted 2 mm XS Grip 2 heel.
TECHNOLOGIES:
- PCB-Tension : PCB-Tension (Power Connection Band) is a new patent-pending way of building high-performance climbing shoes. Perfectly adapted to the SRT system, this tension band gives the foot total freedom by reducing the thickness around the foot and minimizing the gap between the foot and the sole. It transfers power from the toe to the heel, allowing the shoe to fit like a sock while offering power and precision.
- SRT : SRT (Surround Rubber Tension) is the core technology of the Chimera, Drago and Furia S models. It consists of a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that wraps around the forefoot and transmits power directly to the tip of the toes. It also offers maximum grip and precision when picking up spikes. Climbing with soft shoes improves climbing style and naturally enhances toe power. The foot's total freedom of movement stimulates faster, more dynamic movement on rock or synthetics.
- PAF : PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) is an innovative system that both distributes tension on the heel and improves its fit. The Active Rand rubber is interrupted at the back of the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon. It is linked to a softer 2mm XS GRIP2 rubber, which works like a bridge and allows full adaptation to the shape of the heel while providing dynamic forward pressure to concentrate power on the toe. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, ranging from 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for medium tension and 3 holes for heavy tension.
- M50 : M50 is our softest rubber, offering the highest levels of adaptability to the shape of feet and toes. This morphological rubber, developed with Davos®, has a Shore A hardness index of 50, making it perfect for our SRT system, counterpunches and liner wrapping.
- Vibram xs-grip2: Vibram® XS GRIP 2 is an evolution of Vibram® XS GRIP. Used by many bouldering world champions. Vibram® XS GRIP 2 offers significantly improved grip with a level of hardness ideal for gratons (small holds) and volumes, while maintaining consistent performance at all temperatures. Vibram® XS GRIP 2 is recommended for situations requiring maximum grip.
