CHOICE N°1: EASE OF LEARNING
Every component has been specifically designed by the BTWIN team. The low frame makes it easy for children to get on and off, and to negotiate obstacles such as curbs and hills. The footrest invites him to take his feet off the ground and play with his balance. The position of the footrest prepares him to put his feet in the right place when he switches to the bike. IS THERE AN ANGLE LOCK?
The brand has chosen to leave a large amount of angle rotation on the Handlebars to allow more room to maneuver. However, the shape of the frame stops the wheel's travel, so the Handlebars can't reverse. This leaves the child free to progress safely.

The RUNRIDE 500 draisienne weighs 3.4 kg. The difference in weight compared to the Runride 100 is due to the presence of a brake and bearings in the wheels.

INNOVATION STOP EASY: A PATENTED CHILD-FRIENDLY BRAKING SYSTEM
The "Stop Easy" system makes the brake more accessible and easier to use. The brake lever is pressed parallel to the Handlebars for a more natural movement. While remaining progressive, this innovative brake lever delivers 30% more braking power than a conventional lever. An innovation from the BTWIN team, appreciated by children and parents alike.

A BRAKE LIKE THE BIG BOYS
The brand has opted for a V-brake system with mini aluminum calipers. It has been designed specifically for draisienne use: the adjustment screw is positioned at the rear to avoid any friction with the child's legs. BTWIN has designed ribs on the brake pads that interlock with the ridges on the plastic rims, guaranteeing optimum braking performance. The light, characteristic sound of the brake pads rubbing against the rim is testimony to the effectiveness of the braking.

10" WHEELS
The wheels are 10" in size, with plastic rims and solid EVA foam Tyres, typified "hybrid" (off-road). Good to know: The edges of the foam Tyre are less regular, sometimes giving the impression of the wheel "warping". But rest assured, this is not the case! To adjust your brake properly, simply spread the pads a little wider than on a bike with conventional wheels.

WHY IS RIDE QUALITY IMPORTANT?
The principle of the draisienne is based on the child's propulsion, and the ensuing search for balance. The quality of the ride comes into play because it's what enables the child to gain sufficient momentum to lift off his feet and find his balance. The 500 model stands out from other models in its category on the market. The wheels are equipped with ball bearings, renowned for their efficiency.

ADJUSTMENT RANGE, A DETAIL THAT COUNTS
To ensure that the draisienne accompanies your child for longer, with ergonomics adapted to his or her morphology, the brand has widened the saddle adjustment range to 11 cm. Minimum saddle height: 30.2 cm, maximum saddle height: 41.2 cm. For children just starting out, the saddle height should correspond to their crotch height (so that their feet are flat on the ground). Handlebars are also adjustable over a range of 8 cm. Handlebars min: 43.5 cm, max: 51.5 cm.
