TECHNOLOGIES:

  • DUROxpand: DUROxpand fabric is four-way stretch and offers great freedom of movement as well as the flexibility needed to set out on an adventure. 4-WAY STRETCH Refers to a fabric’s ability to stretch in four directions, providing greater freedom of movement.
  • DRYOZone: DRYOzone DWR products are treated with an ultra-thin, PFC/CO-free durable water-repellent (DWR) coating—a polymer applied to the outermost layer of the fabric. DRYOzone DWR reduces the fabric’s surface tension, so water simply beads off.
  • PFC-Free Durable Water Repellent Treatment: Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellents for clothing in the outdoor industry. They are very harmful to the environment because they are highly stable and do not break down easily in nature. As a result, PFC- and CO-free DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more environmentally friendly.
