For this latest generation of Racing Bib shorts Spring-Fall Series, Assos has focused on compressive support, breathability and insulation that won't lead to overheating during intensive efforts. The main fabric is the same ultra-soft, breathable thermal textile as the previous generation, but they've modernized the construction with a lightweight softshell yoke at the crotch. It doesn't trap excess heat, but protects the bust from wind, road spray and precipitation. The new antimicrobial yoke features the same floating design and airflow technologies as SCHTRADIVARI summer Bib shorts, but in this new model, it's protected behind the breathable, windproof softshell yoke. The result: high breathability without cold air flow, dry warmth essential for riding in cool weather.

DETAILS:

OSMOS Light offers the lightest insulation in the OSMOS thermal family. This textile actively regulates temperature to prevent overheating, and its enveloping mesh structure offers compressive support to stimulate blood circulation. SPHERE Ultra is an exclusive ultra-light softshell, used here to protect the bust from wind and water without overheating.
AEPD 11 racingFit is an aerodynamic second skin, developed from feedback from WorldTour athletes to wrap the body 360 degrees for 360 degrees of compression and stability. The Louvre Tec pattern hugs the knee to eliminate friction during pedaling.
Soft compression Module: offers multi-directional wrap-around compression and stability with waist-level construction that eliminates restriction in aggressive racing positions.
X-Frame: an A-frame suspension that limits sagging in the lower back, stabilizing the yoke and main section during high-intensity rides. Attached to the shoulders with our lightest shoulder straps.
Raw Cut: a low-volume ankle construction that eliminates the hem for a friction-free layer with waterproof or windproof overshoes.
Reflective: reflective details on the lower legs catch the light throughout the ride, increasing the cyclist's visibility in low-light conditions.
Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: compressive foam materials in a breathable 9 mm single-layer Racing platform reduce volume and weight. Thermoformed cut reduces wrinkles and friction.
3D Waffle: a patented triple-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates superfluous weight.
kraterCooler: an ultra-light yoke offering perforated support at the front to create refreshing air circulation over the insert.
