The ideal bib shorts for most of your winter rides, the Velocissimo is focused on comfort for riding in mild to cool conditions. Castelli used their Thermoflex fabric for most of the tights. It's not their warmest fabric, nor does it repel water like Nano Flex, but it's the softest and most stretchy winter fabric. Comfort is immediate and long lasting.

For the lower leg just below the knee, Castelli switches to their Nano Flex fleece stretch fabric which is both warm and highly water repellent for protection against splashing from wet roads. It's also very stretchy and has a raw edge to be able to hold the ankles without zippers while ensuring that the tights remain easy to put on and take off. Kiss Air2 chamois and mesh straps keep your butt and upper body happy, while large reflective details keep you visible.
