Did you know? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape from predators and increases its feathers' bulk to avoid the cold.

The EVE jacket is inspired by this: it stops the rain and the wind and keeps the body heat (more than 30°C on the skin surface). When it's cold, simply add a middle layer for extra warmth. You are now ready for all your activities. By adjusting the warmth contribution without ever giving up waterproofness, the EVE jacket can be worn all year round.

You can recognize the EVE jacket by

  • Its cut close to the body, slightly longer in the back to be able to bend down without revealing its back (you know, when the icy wind rushes in)
  • Its deliberately long sleeves so that the wrists remain well covered when you raise your arms
  • Its absolute freedom of movement: the cut has been tested and validated in extreme conditions, both in skiing and in trekking. It brilliantly descended the Laila Peak (6096m) in Pakistan and accompanied a winter crossing of New Zealand (2400km on foot in 5 months) without flinching
  • His ability to go to the essential, with a refined and sharp style. Its ventilation points are designed not to crush the silhouette.

  • Drawstrings at the waist and velcro tightening at the wrist
  • Large helmet hood. Tightening by 3 points at the collarbones and at the back of the head. No holes or eyelets on the hood: the tightening mechanisms do not create an entry point for water, snow or wind
  • Storm flap inside the front zipper
  • Soft protection on chin and cheeks

  • 5mm water resistant YKK© Aquaguard Coil© zippers

MANUFACTURING

  • Lagoped fabric is made up of 3 different layers that are only a few millimeters thick when assembled
  • The outer yarn is Italian (from recycled plastic bottles), the weaving and dyeing is done in the Ardèche
  • The membrane is a polyester made in Europe from recycled membrane scraps (pre-consumer)
  • The inner layer is a very, very fine Italian mesh made from recycled yarn
