The unique formula of the new CeramicSpeed Speed WAX has been developed and refined over the years by their in-house chemist, and—like the rest of the UFO line—it is fully biodegradable and non-toxic. This formula has been validated through extensive laboratory and field testing, including by world championship-winning triathletes and during the three Grand Tours.
CeramicSpeed begins by testing and selecting the fastest chain models compatible with modern 11-, 12-, and 13-speed groupsets. Their chains are carefully cleaned and broken in before undergoing the wax-immersion optimization process, which takes place at the company’s headquarters in Denmark.
CeramicSpeed UFO Speed Chains can save you between 2 and 5 watts over a distance of 650 km/400 miles compared to factory lubrication.
Apply CeramicSpeed UFO DRIP “All Conditions” or “Wet Conditions” after 650 km to maintain your chain’s maximum performance throughout its lifespan. Please note that the CeramicSpeed UFO Speed Chain treatment is not optimized for wet and muddy conditions, which can lead to chain corrosion if it is not relubricated promptly.
