- Contour Shape: The Sea to Summit Contour shape is wider at the torso and elbows. This allows you to roll over and sleep on your side without sliding off the mattress or ending up with your arms and hands touching the cold ground. Contour-shaped mattresses offer a sleeping surface 12% larger than classic tapered (mummy) mattresses, for a weight that’s barely any heavier. Finally, a mattress designed to adapt to the way you sleep.
- Air Zone Construction: The Air Zone construction features vertical cutouts in the foam. Their size varies depending on the body zone to better adapt to your body shape. They reduce weight where it’s not needed, while increasing support and insulation where it’s needed most.
- Side-Loading Storage Bag: Included with all Sea to Summit 2026 self-inflating mattresses, the side-loading storage bag finally solves the classic problem: fitting a mattress into a storage bag. Loosen the drawstring, slide the rolled-up mattress inside, tighten it, and it’s ready to be stowed in your pack.
- XPEL Valve: Sea to Summit’s XPELvalve is the first specifically designed for our self-inflating mattresses. It combines a one-way inflation port, a deflation port, and a precision adjustment knob into a single ingenious component. The clever design of this valve lies in its ability to be flipped to activate deflation mode. This flip transforms the inflation port into a one-way deflation valve, preventing the mattress from re-inflating while it is rolled up.
