TECHNICALDETAILS
- 650+ LOFT ULTRA-DRY DOWN: 650 Loft Ultra-Dry down is used in Sea to Summit Trek and Journey sleeping bags. The 650+ loft indicates that one ounce (30 g) of down will re-expand to over 650 cubic inches when compressed. This down offers an ideal warmth-to-weight ratio for the traveler, recreational camper and occasional hiker. The loft and quality/composition of the down are independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certification is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS-certified and treated with the environmentally-friendly Ultra-Dry Down water-repellent treatment.
- QUILTLOCK SYSTEM: The QuiltLock system uses the snap locks at the shoulder and foot ends of Sea to Summit sleeping bags, as well as the comforter footbox and comforter straps to secure a comforter to the sleeping bag. This adds thermal performance and versatility to your sleeping system: your integrated comforter now works for ultralight summer adventures and turns your three-season bag into a four-season sleeping system.
- C0 DWR: Most of our products have already been upgraded to C0 non-PFC water-repellent finishes. Our goal is to use 100% PFC-free C0 water-repellent finishes by 2025.
- RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS): All the down used in our sleeping bags and comforters is independently certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The RDS standard certifies down against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from source to final product. The purchase of RDS-certified products demonstrates the demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain. Sea to Summit is RDS certified.

- FABRIC: 20-denier recycled polyester shell and lining.
- CUT: Semi-rectangular cut: roomy and generous, a loose fit ideal for car camping and occasional overnight stays.
- SEALED CLOSURE: Free Flow closure system: main closure - #5 full-zip with closure flap and two sliders. Secondary closure - 1/2 length #5 with closing flap and two sliders. Foot closure - #5 with two sliders.
- PARTITION CONSTRUCTION: Vertical partitions on chest, horizontal partitions on bottom half and base, box wall construction throughout.
- COLLAR: Trek -1°C/30°F & -9°C/15°F Fitted front anti-waste collar: scalloped at neck and oversized at shoulders. Trek -18°C/0°F Wicking double collar: fitted front collar and tubular back collar.
- CAP: Generous fitted hood with two tactile adjustments. Fits a regular Sea to Summit pillow.
- ANTI-WIPPING TUBE: Unique anti-wicking tube, filled with synthetic material, along the top of all zippers.
- BAG TWINNING: Compatible with Sea to Summit women's bags.
- PILLOW INTEGRATION: Sea to Summit's regular pillow inserts into the hood.
