TECHNICALDETAILS
- ULTRA-DRY 850+ LOFT DOWN: The highest-performance down used in all Sea to Summit sleeping bags. The 850+ loft indicates that one ounce (30 g) of down will re-expand to over 850 cubic inches when compressed. A higher loft means that less down can be used to achieve the same temperature, which is important for high-performance sleeping bags. Loft and down quality/composition are independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certification is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS-certified and treated with the environmentally-friendly Ultra-Dry Down treatment.
- QUILTLOCK SYSTEM: The QuiltLock system uses the snap locks at the shoulder and foot ends of Sea to Summit sleeping bags, as well as the comforter footbox and comforter straps to secure a comforter to the sleeping bag. This adds thermal performance and versatility to your sleeping system: your integrated comforter now works for ultralight summer adventures and turns your three-season bag into a four-season sleeping system.
- RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS): All the down used in our sleeping bags and comforters is independently certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The RDS standard certifies down against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from source to final product. The purchase of RDS-certified products demonstrates the demand for better animal welfare practices in the down and feather supply chain. Sea to Summit is RDS certified.

- FABRIC: 10-denier nylon shell and lining. Hood and foot compartment in waterproof, breathable 10 denier Nylon.
- CUTTING: Mummy cut: snug fit with generous foot compartment and technical hood, maximizing thermal efficiency and minimizing bulk and weight.
- ZIPPERING: Spark 7C/45F & 1C/30F Main zipper - 1/2 length #5 with zipper guard and two sliders. Spark -9C/15F & -18C/0F Main zipper - 3/4 length #5 with zipper guard and two sliders.
- WALL CONSTRUCTION: Vertical walls on chest, horizontal walls on lower half and base. SPARK 7C/45F quilted construction sewn throughout. SPARK -1C/30F Box-shaped dividers on top half of bag and sewn-in quilted construction on bottom half. SPARK -9C/15F & -18C/0F box partition construction throughout.
- COLLAR: Spark 7C/45F & -1C/30F Standard draft collar. SPARK -18C/0F Double draft collar
- Hood: Tailored technical hood with soft-touch fit. Extra deep for a comfortable feel.
- ANTI-DRAFT TUBE: No anti-drafts tube. Spark -1C/30F & -9C/15F & -18C/0F A single down-filled draft tube along the top of all zippers.
- BAG TWINNING: Spark 7 & -1 cannot be twinned. Spark -9 & -18: Can be combined with Sea to Summit women's bags.
