Description

All CeramicSpeed bearings are hand-assembled in Denmark. CeramicSpeed’s extremely smooth, grade 3 silicon nitride ceramic balls are paired (to within a micron) with hardened steel raceways featuring an ultra-smooth polished groove. The balls are held in place by a reinforced polyamide cage.

Each bearing is optimized with low-viscosity CeramicSpeed “Blue Grease” to minimize friction and increase service life. Non-contact seals complete the assembly to prevent the ingress of dirt and moisture. CeramicSpeed bearings are suitable for all disciplines: road, time trial, triathlon, track, cyclocross, and mountain biking.

During the manufacturing process, each bearing is manually inspected four times to ensure a perfect fit of all components.

CeramicSpeed balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter than the standard steel balls used in the bicycle industry. Compared to other ceramic balls, they are 15% harder, can handle 99% more load, and are 100% smoother.
