The Cinturato Gravel S is a versatile model that offers a safe riding experience in adverse weather conditions and on technical, mountain bike trails. Cinturato™ Gravel S in the suggested model for those looking for a reliable, easy to demount tire that is safe in all conditions. Grip and safety are prioritized over the pure speed of race-specific models.

SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber formulation born from Pirelli's experience in the World Rally Championship where speed and grip performance on and off the road are crucial. This chemical formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the ATV-specific SmartGRIP compound while reducing its rolling resistance. Gravel use requires good speed and on-road capabilities, so our engineers have modified the compound's characteristics toward greater energy efficiency with little compromise on grip, resulting in a predictable compound with solid on- and off-road performance.

Our engineers have wisely combined technologies derived from road-specific reinforced pavements with mountain bike tires to achieve our most advanced gravel tubulars, whose performance is achieved with the use of special fabric reinforcements and thicker rubber layers in specific areas of the tire. On the road, the majority of punctures are caused by sharp object penetration while the most common off-road punctures are caused by sidewall cuts, which is why TechWALL Gravel has a tough Fabric around the entire perimeter of the tire still providing a smooth riding feel
