The M6100 range is molded in the same DNA as the SHIMANO XTR, DEORE XT and SLX MTB groupsets, and is fully compatible with its predecessors so you can choose your favorite set-up to match your riding style.
SHIMANO DEORE M6100 brakes are available in a cross-country version with 2 pistons (BR-M6100) and a trail/enduro version with 4 pistons (BR-M6120). Both are equipped with a completely redesigned lever (BL-M6100) for a more rigid assembly, offering greater responsiveness and power. The brakes are equipped with proven SERVO WAVE technology, which provides a rapid point of contact between pads and discs, increasing braking power and reducing lever travel. Both calipers can be used with resin or metal pads, and work perfectly with SM-RT64 or SM-RT54 discs.
