As part of the new generation of Antares saddles, the Antares R1 retains many of the iconic design features that made the original saddle one of the most popular among top athletes.

Antares is a low-profile saddle with a nose-to-wing transition that allows for efficient pedaling in all riding positions. Whether you're attacking a climb or keeping pace on flat ground, this saddle is designed to support you. Forward and backward movement has been facilitated by a flatter, slightly wider nose that acts as an optimal base from which to generate power.

Antares features an ergonomic cutout, developed from detailed pressure analysis and medical expert input, that helps relieve pressure and facilitate blood flow. In addition, the low-profile padding was designed with dual-density foam, firmer on the pins and softer on the nose, to provide each rider with the right amount of support in any position without creating excessive pressure.

Antares is designed for riders looking for a performance saddle that doesn't sacrifice comfort. As a performance option, Antares is race-proven with athletes around the world, from road racing to cyclocross and cross-country.
