Designed at the foot of the French Alps and manufactured in our workshops, this exceptional wheel has been developed, tested and approved by Mavic DH team riders on the most demanding World Cup trails.
The Deemax DH 27. 5 features a 30 mm wide welded rim specially designed to absorb impacts, shocks and other vibrations, offering maximum confidence on rough terrain.
The Deemax DH 27.5 makes aggression fun and vice versa. Equipped with 28 welded steel J-Bent spokes, the Deemax DH offers the ideal balance of strength and flexibility for maximum performance on the most demanding descents. These spokes are designed to be easy to repair, saving you a tedious pit stop - or workshop - and getting you back on track quickly.
Each wheel pack comes with two spare spokes for added peace of mind. To meet the demands of the DH track, the double Blackshield treatment offers two levels of resistance to stone impacts and scratches.
The wide rim shape makes it easy to fit DH tires with cross-sections between 2.0" and 3.0", giving riders exceptional versatility in adapting their tire configuration to conditions.

Take on rough terrain with confidence: The wider (30 mm) welded rim is designed to absorb heavy shocks. The 28 double-butted J-Bent spokes offer the best compromise between strength and dynamism. The double rim surface protection (Blackshield) preserves the aesthetics of the rim against stone impacts.

Rimless tubeless technology: Instead of being drilled, the rim's lower bridge is pushed inwards, then threaded to allow the spoke nipples to be screwed on directly, leaving the upper bridge intact.
