Description

The Mavic Crossmax XL R carbon wheel has all the qualities to accompany you during your trail expeditions. Can a wheel be too stiff? When it comes to carbon MTB wheels, yes. This is why the rim of the Crossmax XL R is designed with a low profile, which gives it the right level of vertical flexibility to facilitate steering without compromising performance on slopes and precision and efficiency in curves. Its asymmetric rim, with an internal width of 30 mm, is designed to adapt perfectly to all modern trail tires and allow it to give the best of its performance. The outer carbon layer benefits from Mavic's UD² design, which gives it a very special visual identity and reinforces its durability.

To achieve the delicate balance between lateral stiffness and vertical flexibility, the Crossmax XL R uses 24 straight pull spokes. Infinity hub platforms benefit from a stiffer and lighter structure and are further enhanced by the highly reliable ID360 double ratchet quick engagement system. With a weight of only 1595 g for the pair, forget the terrain and let yourself be carried away!
