The eeSilk stem is articulated to reduce rider fatigue by reducing ground borne vibration. The maximum travel is 20 mm, an elastomer is placed between the body and the part fixed on the pivot. The density of the elastomer is variable in five models (Extra Soft, Soft, Medium, Medium/Firm and Firm). In addition, a two-position lever on the top of the stem allows you to activate or deactivate the filtration.

This makes the eeSilk stem very versatile and adaptable to different surfaces. The lever allows cyclists to use the stem in a soft position and then lock it to pedal for example in a dancer.

The eeSilk stem is available in black in three lengths: 80 mm, 90 mm and 100 mm. Each eeSilk stem comes with three elastomers (also available at retail) whose firmness varies according to the length of the stem. Changing an elastomer and testing your preference is very simple, and does not require disassembling the handlebars.
Cane Creek recommends riding the original elastomer first to get an idea. Then, the rider can switch to a softer or firmer elastomer depending on their preference.
