Description

Carbon tire lifters that are made from a forged ultra-strong alloy with a reinforced nylon coating to protect the carbon rims. DO NOT use for installation. Modern carbon rims and tires create a challenge for traditional tire changers, and the new wave of tubeless configurations has taken the challenge to the next level. Tire fit is tighter than ever, while carbon rims require non-metallic levers to resist damage to the heel or brake surface during use. Previous solutions to this problem involved the use of a metal core inside a plastic lever, but this solution has its own challenges as the lever core is where you can add the least rigidity and strength. This leaves the metal-core levers both less rigid and heavier than they should be.
