Description

Many lightweight stems and handlebars are only warranted if fitted with a suitable torque wrench.
In fact, over-tightening the stem screws can have several serious consequences: crushing the handlebars, tearing of the stem threads, rupture of the mounting cover.
Conversely, insufficient tightening can cause the handlebars to turn or become loose.
