If you own an EAB, then you know that cleaning and lubricating your chain is a real hassle because the cranks don't drive the chain when you backpedal like on a normal bike unless you put the bike upside down, risking damaging the components. And if you use an allen key, it can get stuck in the crank screw, or worse, damage it! This little accessory will allow you to jam the crank to drive the chain so that you can service it without damaging the components.
