High Fructose Gel provides 55 g of carbohydrates and 250 mg of sodium per gel, from maltodextrin and fructose, in a 10:8 ratio.

This formulation based on "multi-transportable carbohydrates" has been shown in several studies to facilitate intestinal absorption via different transporters. This characteristic represents an effective mechanism for increasing the rate of assimilation and oxidation of exogenous carbohydrates beyond 60 g per hour.

Research confirms that combining carbohydrate sources such as maltodextrin and fructose is highly recommended.

DETAILS:

MALTODEXTRIN
- It is absorbed in the intestine by the SLGT1 cotransporter and converted into glucose to enter cells and provide them with energy more rapidly.
- Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index, rapidly raising blood glucose levels and releasing energy instantly.
- Rapid gastric emptying thanks to a high molecular weight and low osmolarity, favoring digestion and reducing gastrointestinal side effects.
FRUCTOSE
- It is absorbed in the intestine using GLUT5 transporters, which differ from those that absorb other carbohydrates. Absorbed fructose travels from the gut to the liver via GLUT2 transporters, replenishing liver glycogen stores lost during intense exercise.
- The result is increasing absorption, releasing energy steadily and progressively.

DIRECTIONS: Consume 2 units max. each 60 minutes during exercise with approx. 300 ml water.
