Description

SD BB30 SPINNING BOTTOM BRACKET SHELL - 24MM

This SD Spinning bottom bracket shell is CNC-machined from aluminium. It allows the installation of a crankset with a 24mm spindle on a frame with a bottom bracket shell of 68mm external width and 42mm internal diameter.

This shell is designed to work with bearings featuring a tapered outer race. The bearings can only be fitted into the cups in one direction. The cups are also marked "OUT" to indicate the outer side. This technology provides automatic coaxiality to improve power transfer. Its design makes maintenance easier and ensures reliable operation over long periods, while the angular contact enhances its durability and reliability.

For installation, the shell has an internal recess of 20 splines on each side for inserting a bottom bracket tool of the - square spindle - type. This locking mechanism allows easy installation. Its threaded structure limits the intrusion of foreign bodies and increases the rigidity of the shell.
