Description

Combining aesthetics and performance, the MAAP X KASK Protone Icon is synonymous with victory.
Exclusive graphics, limited-edition colors and MAAP's signature design ethos are all found on KASK's innovative, lightweight helmet.
Designed to CE EN 1078 safety standards.

The internal structure has been redesigned to provide greater safety for the helmet wearer.
The upper and lower parts of the shell are assembled using seamless technology, giving it an elegant, refined appearance, while improving aerodynamics.
The new OCTOFIT + adjustment system optimizes helmet comfort and stability, while a vertical stabilizer at the nape of the neck provides ergonomic neck support, better balance and a customized fit.
A large rotating knob covered with special rubber improves tightening, while a reflector positioned at the rear of the helmet offers even greater safety.
The inner lining is made of CoolMax® fabric for comfort and quick drying, and is also removable and washable.
As with all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon has been developed in accordance with the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 TEST protocol, an objective scientific approach designed to measure helmet performance against rotational impacts.

TECHNOLOGIES:

OCTOFIT +: The new injection-molded rubber knob provides a better grip. The vertical stabilizer has been redesigned for greater stability and offers cyclists with longer hair a custom fit. The ergonomic neck support guarantees a quick and secure fit on the back of the head.
MIT: MIT technology guarantees better head protection, with full polystyrene protection thanks to the polycarbonate layer covering the shell at the top, around the base and at the back.
COOLPMAX FIBER: removable, washable inner lining in Coolmax® material
HIGH VISIBILITY: Highly visible decals for optimum safety even in the worst visibility conditions
IN MOULDING: Innovative "in-molding" technology, joining the polystyrene inner liner to the polycarbonate outer shell
polycarbonate shell, guaranteeing superior shock absorption.
3D DRY FILLING: 3D DRY filling is obtained through a multi-layer open-cell construction process: high-tech for maximum comfort and performance.
