Our premium helmet for the modern trail runner: The CliffHanger easily combines safety and good ventilation in one helmet. In the MIPS version, it is equipped with additional impact protection.

FOR DEMANDING TRAILS
The CliffHanger is the flagship of the ABUS MTB series trail models. When the enduro bike descends and climbs strongly, the MTB helmet provides reliable protection.

Lighter, better ventilated and with an adjustable TriVider strap dispenser - this is where the CliffHanger scores. The special MTB adjustment system also ensures that the helmet sits comfortably and firmly on your head as you walk through the wildest rock gardens. The EPS rigid foam inner shell is foamed into a three-part outer shell. This guarantees lightness and stability. The existing Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) can reduce energy in oblique impact by up to 40%.

With the CliffHanger we have succeeded in developing a helmet that offers almost optimal conditions for high speeds and demanding trails.

  • Zoom-Ace-MTB: Height adjustment system for adaptation to the head circumference
  • Ponytail compatibility: Helmet well suited for pigtail wearers

  • QUIN ready - easy upgrade with separately available QUIN chip for fall detection
  • MIPS: Impact protection that primarily protects the brain if the rider hits the head at an angle in the event of a fall.
  • ActiCage: Structural reinforcement integrated into the EPS to optimize stability
  • Molded bottom shell for added durability
  • Height adjustable visor
  • GoggFit: Device that allows a mask to be attached when the athlete does not need it while driving
  • Ventilation: excellent ventilation thanks to 8 air inlets and 6 air outlets
  • FidLock magnetic buckle
