Buying guide

Designed for speed, this versatile road helmet offers you an advantage in terms of comfort throughout the day and additional safety features. This is the most advanced road racing helmet ever created by Mavic. Designed to cut in the wind to give you a spin-on edge while focusing on uncompromising protection and comfort, Comete Ultimate is an obsession to win.

It is the result of an effort to produce the kind of marginal gains that provides a competitive advantage. With a brand new form, the wind tunnel tests show that it offers a proven sprint advantage while remaining perfectly ventilated for mountings. Despite its dynamic form, the Comete Ultimate MIPS does not give up anything in terms of comfort. It has a unique adaptive adaptation system that compliments the shape of your head, as well as new ears.

Better yet, it offers improved impact protection thanks to the unique combination of two innovative safety technologies. First, we used EPS-4D technology which offers up to 30% more shock absorption than conventional EPS construction.

Then we have integrated the last MIPS system, which allows to reduce the rotational forces of a collision thanks to its low friction inner layer. Security, speed, comfort. You get it all with the new Comete Ultimate MIPS. Exclusive combination of safety technologies for maximum protection.

Details:
