Vega Carbon is a new lightweight, powerful, and innovative racing shoe, designed for and chosen by the most demanding cyclists and professional peloton riders, with an ergonomic design, low stack height, and strategic material mapping.

KEY DETAILS:

Vega Carbon is Fizik’s latest high-end road shoe, designed from the ground up to deliver maximum performance for front-of-the-pack riders and professionals. Featuring an integrated ultra-stiff carbon outsole, an innovative and ultra-breathable upper, a redesigned last, and a more ergonomic fit, the Vega meets all requirements for lightness, performance, and efficient power transfer. It is specifically designed to adapt to the modern geometries of road bikes, as well as current riding positions and styles.
Over the past few years, bike geometry and body position have evolved significantly. Consequently, the points of contact between cyclists and their bikes have had to adapt. With Vega, we’re introducing an all-new shape, featuring a straighter axis and reduced drop for a more natural pedaling motion. Vega’s wider toe box offers more space and allows the foot to spread out fully, ensuring an ergonomic fit and improving comfort during intense rides, whether it’s stage races or weekly training sessions.
Vega is equipped with a full carbon outsole that offers increased stiffness while reducing the height underfoot. Thanks to this advanced construction technique, the sole is actually inside the shoe and covered by the upper, which reduces the height at the cleat and ensures complete ergonomic support for the foot. Its anatomical shape and low heel-to-toe drop prioritize stability and foot support, for a more efficient power transfer.
The Vega’s upper features strategic material mapping, using different fabrics in specific zones to meet specific needs: breathable where ventilation is essential, and supportive where comfort is paramount. For greater breathability and lightness, we combined Aeroweave woven fabric with a thin, translucent mesh to create an even lighter shoe without sacrificing its original durability. Next, a snug, perforated Airprene liner ensures enhanced comfort and a pressure-free fit, from race days to long mountain outings.
The instep and midfoot are separately adjustable for personalized support thanks to the Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit System. Two distinct BOA® dials, connected to panels, wrap around the medial side of the foot, allowing cyclists to precisely adjust the shoe to the unique shape of their foot, ensuring lasting support.
