Description
The Mallet Trail Speed Lace Clip-In is designed for trail mountain biking, light enduro and hard-core riding. It combines comfort, grip and power transfer, with modern styling and an ergonomic quick lacing system.
DETAILS:
- Speed Lace closure: single-pull lacing ensures a fast, precise fit. An additional Velcro strap locks it all together, and a pocket lets you slip the laces out of reach of the outside elements for added security.
- Synthetic, breathable upper: Designed with water-resistant materials, perforated for ventilation, and a TPU front shell to protect your toes from roots or rocks.
- Optimized rigid sole: A reinforced nylon fiber shank ensures excellent power transfer during pedaling, while offering sufficient flex for comfort out of the saddle. An EVA foam midsole absorbs vibrations.
- Match System: Pre-installed with a Crankbrothers cleat and neutral shim, the shoe is compatible with SPD and other pedal systems, facilitating instant engagement right out of the box.
- Grippy outsole: A medium-friction MC1 rubber with a band of directional studs around the cleat area, facilitating walking on technical terrain and easy cleat release.
- Estimated weight: approx. 440 g per shoe (size US 9 / EU 42)
- Fit: standard unisex size. For wide feet, we recommend a half-size larger
- Recommended use: trail, all-mountain, light enduro, technical touring
- Accessories: Crankbrothers wedges included, ready for use
