Developing new shoes is like improving your favorite recipe: keep the same base and vary the dose a bit.
True to the ION image with a perfect blend of grip, durability, ease of use and style, the flat pedal shoe continues to evolve. The main ingredient, a Pin Tonic 2.0 outsole design, is a new and even more delicious version to satisfy any rider hungry for all-day riding.
The new outsole profile comes with positive traction in the forefoot and heel for perfect traction when pushing or riding a bike. The negative lugs provide perfect grip and space for the spikes.
In addition, the SUPTraction is equipped with a stickier rubber compound. Completely changing the recipe is not always the right solution, the Scrub Select is equipped with a comfortable EVA midsole and insole.
Since grip is only one component of power transmission, the area completely in front of the toes has a lower part for maximum contact on the pedal.

Grip

is not enough to make a good cycling shoe, so these shoes have rock and root protection on the toes and protect the ankles from the cranks (Ankle_Pad).

  • PIN TONIC 2.0: New ION outsole with new profile structure and SupTraction Rubber compound Soul FL
  • Reinforced toe cap to protect toes from root and stone impact. Pre-shaped heel for maximum comfort and a precise fit. Excellent heel support guaranteed.
  • Grip is only one element of a good MTB shoe. To increase power transmission, the end of the toe area has a lower shape for maximum pedal contact.
