An ultra-lightweight undershort designed to last. It is designed for rough off-road riding and has been completely redesigned with our new High Performance OFF-ROAD insert for the trails, a more secure fit, and enhanced protection and breathability in the hip inserts.

The TRAIL TACTICA undershort features the new OFF-ROAD HP T3 insert, which ensures good air circulation like its predecessor, but more actively reduces friction when pedalling and adds comfort when riding on single track or rocky trails. The fit has been adjusted and now incorporates elastane in the leg straps so that it sits closer to the body. We've also redesigned the waist area to include zeroPressure Waist technology, which wraps around the abdomen and holds the insert in place for optimal, non-binding stability. The new ImpactorTec T3 padded hip inserts have more protective surface area, an ultra-soft inner lining and kraterCooler venting technology so that protection doesn't mean overheating.

Features:

The Polstar fabric is an ultra-breathable two-way stretch mesh that keeps you cool while accelerating moisture evaporation thanks to its hydrophilic treatment. Although this undershort is more durable than the Sport Touring, the fabric is still too light to be worn alone. The Speedy fabric, on the other hand, has highly elastic and odour-reducing properties and provides compressive support around the waist.

The cut provides a second-skin effect so that the garment can be worn under TACTICA Cargo shorts. All major seams have been reversed to eliminate rubbing against the skin. The standard leg length allows more skin to be covered under other layers of gear.

Technology:

  • ImpactorTec T3: Specially redesigned inserts for the TRAIL TACTICA system, combining a 7mm thick flexible viscoelastic foam with a larger protective surface and kraterCooler technology for cooling action.
  • zeroPressure Waist: A waistband structure that incorporates a soft, highly elastic material to improve comfort and fit around the waist, without pressure or pinching.
  • Superlight Leg Grippers: Elastic leg grippers integrated with lightly compressive bands that provide a secure, non-slip fit, but never restrictive.
  • Shock-Absorb Damping Mono9: Compressive shock-absorbing foam layers increased in thickness from 8 to 9 mm, specifically designed to fit straight gravel or trail riding positions. Formed by a thermal process to reduce the number of edges and therefore the risk of chafing.
  • 3D Waffle: Patented triple-layer perforated foam in waffle fabric, which allows the skin to breathe better while eliminating superfluous weight and absorbing shocks.
  • GoldenGate 2.0: The insert is attached at the front and back while the side and center sections can move with your body without offering resistance. The fins, split on the sides, are less bulky and generate less friction when you pedal.
  • KraterCooler: perforations in the front of the insert draw in air to allow the skin to breathe while keeping the body dry and warm.
