The Crossmax name echoes a long history in the cross-country world. This Mavic Crossmax 29 wheelset, with the same features and technologies as the competition's cross-country wheels, lives up to that reputation at a reasonable price. One of its major assets: UST technology, which facilitates the installation of tubeless tires. The result is greater traction and control, smoother handling and reduced risk of punctures. The rim is welded for greater reliability, with a 25 mm internal width and a hookless profile, while

the lighter Infinity hub increases lateral rigidity and spoke tension. The Instant Drive 360 freewheel body, with its double ratchet system, guarantees rapid engagement and unrivalled reliability.

Maxtal aluminum alloy: light and strong. A genuine Mavic exclusive, this specific aluminum alloy offers a better strength-to-weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.
UST Tubeless technology: traction and control Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready-to-ride tubeless system. The UST system improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and the risk of punctures.
Instant Drive 360 freewheel system: the new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is ultra-light and efficient. An oversized non-contact rubber seal reduces friction to a minimum, and a wide choice of adapters makes it compatible with all types of frames and axles.
QRM Auto bearing adjustment technology: Mavic Auto bearing quality Our latest innovation. These cartridge bearings are naturally double-sealed, with C3 internal clearance. Their preload adjusts automatically to ensure perfect long-term rotation without any play.
SUP welding technology: a stronger, smoother "Process Machined Welded" fitting. After strapping, the rim connection is arc-welded. The welded joint is then machined to a smooth finish.
