The
Fox 34 Float is the fork that spares no expense, it's a smoother, lighter, easier to adjust and better performing fork than ever before, the 34 is an ultra versatile trail fork in a class by itself.
Two major improvements for this
Fox 34 Float 2023:
IMPROVED LOWER LEG BYPASS CHANNELS.
As a fork compresses, the volume of air in the lower legs decreases, which increases air pressure. As the fork compresses, the pressure increases. This effect can have the unintended consequence of preventing full travel. Our lower leg channels solve this problem by significantly increasing the volume of air in the lower legs and thus reducing the amount of unintended extra pressure.
Another benefit of these channels is that the lower leg bath oil circulates to the upper parts of the lower legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and expands along its path.
NEW LOWER LEG ARCH.
Stiffness to weight is the ultimate measure for bike design. Engineers spend countless hours examining every gram of material to optimize this critical ratio. The all-new 34 does everything it can to save every ounce, while making sure it doesn't compromise the stiffness or strength required by the modern trail.
Modern frame designs and geometric trends demand modern suspension design solutions. The frame design is designed to fit modern trail bikes perfectly. Head tube profiles are getting larger and fork offsets are getting shorter. Our new bar shape recognizes this need by moving forward to provide high head tube clearance at full compression. Advanced computer modeling techniques allowed us to create an organic lower leg shape that maximizes stiffness with an absolute minimum of material.

34 Step-Cast frame :
The special shape of the lower tee is not only aesthetic. The narrow position of the 34 Step-Cast (SC) frame saves weight and the stepped design leaves room for the spokes and brake rotor. The 34 SC frame, equipped with 34mm top tubes, features a large bushing overlap for a quality ride; the recessed lower arms save even more weight.
Fit4 Cartridge :
Constituting the fourth generation, our patented FIT4 (FOX Isolated Technology) sealed cartridge system allows for three instantaneous positions for compression damping (open, medium and firm) to adapt to different trail conditions. The Factory Series forks also feature 22 clicks of low speed compression adjustment in open mode to allow riders to fine tune the damping.
The FIT4 cartridge has been redesigned based on the award-winning HSC/LSC design to improve damping on any fork. This year's FIT4 shock features a new setting that offers improved sensitivity while maintaining support.
Float Air Shock :
The FLOAT air shock developed for the 32, 34 and 40 forks is lighter and reduces the force needed to trigger. It offers excellent sensitivity over small bumps regardless of rider or pressure setting.
Similar to our FLOAT shocks, the new FLOAT system features self-balancing negative and positive chambers. This provides the appropriate pressure for each rider. The progressiveness of the damping curve is adjustable with air volume spacers so that riders can fine-tune the behavior of the air shock.
