Mizuno running shoe categories: a sensory approach
MIZUNO shoes are defined in three categories, associated with 3 feelings: comfort, propulsion and stability.
Full cushioning and softness
Softness in the landing phase and dynamism in the recovery phase
Feeling of support during the stance phase and reactivity throughout the foot's development
Mizuno's two revolutionary technologies
The Wave Plate
The Wave plate is an all-in-one concept combining 3 key functions: cushioning, dynamism and stability. It disperses the shock wave like a shock absorber and offers an immediate energy return, thus generating a more dynamic cushioning sensation.
1. The Pebax shape memory plate: inserted between 2 layers of EVA, it deforms on impact and always returns to its initial shape, thus providing stability ;
2. It disperses the shock wave like a shock absorber and offers an immediate energy return, thus generating a more dynamic cushioning sensation ;
3. Together with the horseshoe system (shape of the sole at the heel), it protects the heel spur by dispersing the shock wave around the heel and not in the centre.
MIZUNO Enerzy technology
The ENERZY technology offers a higher energy return and flexibility than any other running shoe on the market.
