Why "Women's" electric bikes?
Do you think it's just marketing? The answer is no. Electric bike manufacturers have developed bikes that are adapted to the female body. Namely: a smaller bust, longer legs and a wider pelvis.
Women's electric city bikes therefore have 3 characteristics that differentiate them from men's bikes.
- Shorter horizontal tube: to reduce the size of the bike and keep an upright position.
- The handlebars are narrower: to make the shoulders and back more flexible
- Wider saddles: To fit their pelvis better
In a nutshell
The choice of your electric bike will depend on several elements (budget, engine, battery, drivetrain, etc.). The transmission is an element not to be neglected in your choice, just like the braking and the motorisation. Most electric bikes today are equipped with disc brakes, it is advisable to opt for a more responsive hydraulic (versus mechanical) brake.
Big brands like: Gitane, Cannondale, Haibike, Peugeot, B-Twin offer a wide range of bicycles for all types of use.
