Responsiveness, lightness and stiffness are the hallmarks of these Fulcrum Racing Zero Aluminum counters. An intelligent structure for reduced weight and aerodynamic shape make these wheels an ultimate choice for all your outings. The rim allows tubeless tire mounting, much more efficient and resistant to punctures. The high-end ceramic USB bearings as well as the carbon hubs with aluminum flange are the best, watertight, durable and an outstanding output !
The Racing Zero Comptetition :
Extremely reactive thanks to the reduced weight in the periphery thanks to a triple milling "Square Milling", the circles also do not have the same height in the front and the rear to improve the driving comfort, 26mm in the front for 30mm at the back.
The hubs :
USB ceramic bearings provide exceptional performance while being durable. The balls are strategically positioned to improve efficiency and service life. The ceramic bearings are also stronger and better protected against infiltration. The hubs are made entirely of carbon with a reinforced aluminum flange at the rear providing stiffness and reactivity. The spokes are crossed at the rear to increase the lateral stiffness with an aerodynamic shape minimizing the entry of air into the wheel. The rays are also very light to allow a greater reactivity.
TOW-TO-ONE
When you push on the pedals, the rotational force on the sprocket induces a slackening of the freewheel spokes with a consequent loss of rim tension. This results in undesirable flex of the whole wheel and an unavoidable loss of energy. Fulcrum® has solved this classic cycling problem with its 2:1 Two-to-One™ Spoke Ratio patent, by doubling the spokes in the critical zones.
