Thanks to its reworked 40mm rims and easy-to-use Road Tubeless technology, this wheelset is the fastest, stiffest and lightest all-rounder for road bikes equipped with rim brakes.
This completely new wheelset is a premium choice for road cyclists who seek speed and efficiency in all situations, racing or not. The 40mm contoured rim slices through the air, with minimal drag; it is also the lightest in its class. The new laminate lightens each rim by 40g . As the spokes are anchored without drilling the upper deck, there is no need for rim tape, which means additional weight reduction (30 g), and less hassle when fitting or repairing tubeless tires.
With the new upper rim bridge profile, fitting and removing a tire has never been so easy. With the UST Tubeless system, no inner tube, no friction; and a larger volume of air promises smoother handling. The result: increased speed with greatly reduced rolling resistance . The icing on the cake, our patented elliptical spokes, to save even more energy. Our new Infinity hub optimizes the racking. The carefully adjusted spoke tension optimizes power transfer.
These wheels are designed, manufactured and patented by Mavic, in Annecy, and entirely handmade on our European site.
