Don't take our word for it. Internal tests by the German Triathlon Association (DTU) show that this suit is the fastest swimming suit ever tested. Then Castelli adds aerodynamic speed on the bike and run. You'll get to the finish line faster. The secret lies in Castelli's unique stretch fabric. Rather than sewing together different fabrics for different functions, Castelli actually modifies the texture and performance of the fabric in areas where it needs to perform different functions. This is especially evident at the leg opening, where a gripping elastic is woven into the fabric to hold the leg in place, while the rest of the leg is smooth for speed in the water. This technique allows the lower portion of the suit to be made from a single piece of fabric. The suit is also tested quickly in a wind tunnel on the bike. But DTU also wanted extra cooling on the upper body for running, so the chest and back are made from a different fabric that stays cooler and wicks moisture. This suit was developed for pure speed, and it delivers in every discipline.
