The JR (for Junior) range from Commencal, benefits from a complete redesign for 2022. Offered with 27.5 inch wheels until now, it is now in 26 inches. With the arrival of the XS range, geometries, kinematics and sizes have been reviewed, shortened and are now aimed at people measuring between 135 cm and 150 cm. In the meantime, whether the bike is intended for a teenager or a small adult, you can expect it to ride hard. More than ever, there are no concessions on the quality and performance of frames and components.
On the Commencal Meta HT JR, the frame is specifically designed to fit smaller riders. Besides that, it has all the makings of a big bike with its 150mm RockShox fork, Sram brakes, Sram 12-speed transmission and 100mm telescopic seatpost. The big guys have to be careful.
