Shimano Ultegra ST-R8170 brake levers bring improved modulation and control to every ride using Shimano's proven Servo Wave technology. The all-Di2 platform, used on both the Dura-Ace and Ultegra, allows for clear shifting, while delivering faster, more reliable wireless shifting.

The Ultegra BR-R8170 caliper offers improved modulation, a quieter braking system and an easier bleeding process than ever before. Despite its smaller size, the system is quieter than ever and easier to maintain.

J-Kit (Easy Hose Joint System)
On brake systems equipped with a J-Kit brake line connection, the brake lever has an integrated pinch joint (olive), which considerably facilitates the installation and removal of the brake line in its whole.
