Stainless steel capable of undergoing the heat treatment which gives it its hardness is called martensitic. It has a carbon content at least equal to 0.40% which makes it possible to obtain a very satisfactory cutting edge without being sensitive to corrosion.
The handle is injected in polyamide loaded with glass fiber which guarantees a great resistance to shocks, water, and extreme temperatures (-40 C +80 C). A whistle is built into the heel of the handle, without ball it works in all weathers, with a power of 110 dB, it has a range of about 300 m very in the cleared area.
